Digital Rights Agreement (3D Prints)

Agreement Duration: 2 Years from Date of Purchase (Limited-Time Offer; Future Purchases Subject to a 1-Year Term)

1. Definitions

• Personal Use: Printing and utilizing the design files for personal purposes, including gifting or prototyping. This excludes any sales or commercial activity.
• Commercial Use: Printing and selling physical products based on the design files, excluding Alberta sales or manufacturing and subject to additional restrictions outlined below.

2. Personal Use Rights

By purchasing this design, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license for personal use only. This includes:

• Allowed:
  • Printing the design for personal enjoyment.
  • Creating physical items as gifts.
  • Prototyping and experimenting with the design for non-commercial purposes.
• Prohibited:
  • Selling or distributing the design in any format, digital or physical.
  • Using the design or physical prints for any money-making activities without upgrading to a commercial license.

3. Commercial Use Rights

To use the design for commercial purposes, a Commercial License must be purchased. This license grants permission for physical product sales only and is subject to the following restrictions:

• Allowed:
  • Printing and selling physical items based on the licensed designs outside of Alberta.
  • Selling physical products in offline stores, craft shows, or markets.
• Prohibited:
  • Alberta Sales or Manufacturing: No sales, production, or manufacturing of the licensed designs within Alberta.
  • Online Sales of Individual Models: Individual designs cannot be sold online. Online sales are only permitted if:
    • You purchase rights to the entire catalogue at once.
    • You are an active member of the Patreon Commercial Maker’s Guild or similar levels.

4. Additional Terms

• Non-Exclusive Rights: All licenses are non-exclusive, and the licensor retains full rights to the designs.
• Attribution (Optional): While not required, attribution is appreciated when sharing your creations publicly.
• Revocation of Rights: Any violation of these terms will result in the immediate revocation of this license, without refund.

5. Entire Catalogue and Special Agreements

For makers interested in online sales of the full catalogue or comprehensive commercial rights, special arrangements can be made:

6. Agreement Acknowledgment

By purchasing and downloading these designs, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this Digital Rights Agreement.
This agreement is valid for 2 years from the purchase date under this limited-time offer. Future purchases may be subject to a 1-year term.
